A Free Pass To The Museum!

The Copiague Library offers patrons free family passes to:

American Folk Art Museum

Cold Spring Harbor Whaling Museum

Cradle of Aviation Museum

Heckscher Museum of Art

   Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center of Nassau County  

Long Island Children’s Museum

Old Westbury Gardens

Intrepid Sea Air & Space Museum

Suffolk County Vanderbilt Museum & Planetarium

Nassau County Museum of Art

Patrons may check these passes out on their library card and each pass grants free admission for two adults and up to four children (except Cradle of Aviation and L. I. Children's Museum, 4 total) as well as discounts at the gift shops in some cases.

Museum Pass Policy

  • The Museum Pass may be reserved by Copiague Library adult cardholders in good standing. 
  • The pass may be reserved up to 3 months in advance of the desired date, subject to availability on a first come, first served basis. A particular pass may only be reserved once in any 30 day period.
  • The pass may be checked out for 1 day (2 nights) (no renewals) and can be picked up the evening before (AFTER 3 PM) or the day of the reservation at the Circulation Desk. The cardholder’s account must be in good standing at time of check out. (If the library is closed, pickup pass the day before)
  • The pass must be returned BY 12 NOON at the Information Desk or in the library Audio Visual drop in its original case the day after use. (If the library is closed, drop off pass the day after)
  • The Museum reserves the right to determine the rules and regulations governing the use of the pass. 
  • Pass is on loan for two days and a $25 fine will be attached for each day the pass becomes overdue.
  • A replacement fee of $40.00 will be charged if the pass is lost while checked out.
